Peter Crawford has finally decided to return to where it all became for him. Crawford, originally from Mt Isa will return to the Townsville Crocodiles for the upcoming 2009/10 season, the club where he spent his first five years before heading west to Perth.
In other news Melbourne Tigers have released Stephen Hoare while it seems Tommy Greer has told the club he is looking elsewhere.

So the media is only a week behind you JR.
There had been signs that PC intended to return to the Crocs for over 12 months so it came as no real surprise. I don't think he ever got along with Conner Henry.
Now with the all-time lowest scoring output PG combo we needed a more prolific scorer at the 2 anyway, so it works out well for both parties.
We just signed the guy that defended u when u had 10 3's????
Tommy Greer would be a great addition for Cairns
Why would the Tigers drop Greer and Hoare!? They will end up with a superstar team with no D and no chemistry just like the start of last year...stupid move IMO
JR is it possible for you to please cover the Australian Basketball team results for these World Championships?? http://www.belfast2009.com/
I've said it elsewhere and I'll say it here:
Import/Robertson
Crawford/Cedar
Williamson/Tovey
Import/Greer
Hinder/Dowdell
is a downgrade on last years Crocs team. With sides like Gold Coast loading up the Crocs are in danger of losing the position as QLDs Premier Team.
Greer's not a 4
we're very small up front again
In a league that chops and changes from year to year, Stephen Hoare's hairstyle was a constant that we will all miss. There has been few better role players in the history of the league. Love u Hoarebags
no YAP either
The talk seems to be Greer to the Taipans and not the Crocs. Melbourne will not want Greer to go. Westover has developed him, but he needs more minutes.
I'll take a straight swap. JR, time to come to Perth!
i'd take Crawford over JR any day.
NOW WE KNOW WHY THEY GOT RID OF JR.
Good move in my eyes.
